Neben dem Sternhaufen enth\u00e4lt der Nebel auch eine Reihe junger Sterne und Protosterne, die erst etwa 100.000 bis 1 Mio Jahre alt sind.<\/p>\n<p>Vor der Globule liegt der Reflexionsnebel van den Bergh 142 (vdB142), der wahrscheinlich in physikalischen Bezug steht.
